This role would include general servicing and repairs, fitting of suspension, diff-locks, clutch kits and fault diagnosis.

Accessory Fitter

About the role:
This role would require you to fit 4×4 accessories to all makes and models.

Workshop Leading Hand/Accessory Fitter

  • Full time position
  • 9 Day Fortnight

About the role:

Northwest Offroad is currently building a new 3000 sq meter workshop and warehouse and we are now looking for a Leading Hand/Accessory Fitter to join our workshop team.
As the workshop leading hand, you will play a pivotal role in the workshop’s daily operations, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
You will oversee a team of accessory fitters, ensuring all jobs are completed to our customer’s satisfaction.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and advise on the tasks of the accessory fitting team
• Monitor and enforce quality control standards
• Liaise with the sales team and parts department to ensure availability of required parts
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the sales and workshop coordination team
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Be responsible for getting your own scheduled work completed on time


Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand or workshop controller in the automotive industry (desired)
• Strong leadership skills
• Trade qualified in mechanical or auto electrics (desirable) – or proven experience in either field
• A thorough understanding of automotive systems and technology
• Experience in fitting aftermarket automotive accessories
• Good problem solving skills
• Exceptional organisation and time management skills
• Australian manual drivers licence
